Hi, I remember being in yr6. When I was younger I thought the yr6's were so grown up, but when I finally reached yr6 I realised that they wern't! I am now at secondary school, but I just want to say how much I enjoyed Barnabas Oley and how much I miss all of the teachers. I hope that Mrs Rees us having a brilliant time now that she has left. Also thanks to all the teachers that taught me at Barnabas Oley; Mrs Brawn, Mrs Ashdown, Miss Jarvis, Mr Fuller, Mrs Downes, Mrs McKower, Mrs McCarthy and last, but not least Mrs Rees. Not forgetting the other staff such as the ladies that work in the office and the dinner ladies. (Sorry if I spelt anyone's name wrong!).

Oh, hello there,
Baranbas Oley brings back many fond memories. I loved the school very much and I'm sure many of current students would agree in saying that the school community was/is a pleasure to be part of. After Barnabas Oley I attended another school which I also enjoyed a great deal. I'm so gald this lovely school is still here in the beautiful village of Great Gransden. I wish the school a happy future and all the best for the new year of 2010.

Hi, this is jon and ellie. We went to barnabas oley 5 years ago and are currently in ict reminiscing. We go to st bedes and we're both in year 11. We miss Barnabas Oley, Secondary School seems to be a lot more difficult and we have to be more responsible. We're still as kiddy as we used to be :).

Hi to Everyone at BOP,
St Bedes is awesome loving it loads. The bus journey-even though it is a long day-there on the bus-school-home on the bus it is worth it. I have so many new friends-have been on a school trip to Ely Cathedral and going on the Bede trail to Durham in July. Should be fun! Hope you are all enjoying BOP, choose St Bedes-it's the best!!!!

Hello Barnabas Oley!
It's been such a long l time since I've seen all of you guys. I went to the end of term service in July to watch my 'baby' brother Felix in his last school service and was blown away at how much those that i know and grew up with had grown!
I found a whole load of old school books in a cupboard yesterday and spent 4 WHOLE HOURS looking through them. I was able to say that i remembered the day that i wrote some of the things and had great fun sharing them with my family. I wouldn't be me without barnabas oley and the awesome teachers who put thier time and effort into giving so many children a good education.
Wishing you a happy, fun, safe, joyful and carefree new year! (even if i am abit late)

As a parent of one of this years yr6 leavers... I had to say I think the leavers lunch was a fantastic idea. It was so nice to arrange this. Complete with tablecloths and napkins. A big thankyou to Mrs Darroch and her team. A lovely end to our primary school years!

I lived in Gt Gransden around 1970-71 and have happy memories of the school, and of headmaster Mr Shaw. There was also a teacher called, I think, Miss Napier. In class, I sat beside a girl named Karen, who was also my next-door neighbour. Mr Shaw would read to the class from a history book entitled Kings & Things, and he wrote a Nativity play which we performed at the church. Great to know the school is still going strong.
