Barnaby Bear's Diary
Cambridge Touring Company
|Barnaby Bear joins the Kemp family for a sneak preview of the Cambridge Touring Theatres, Robin Hood the Musical, in Cambridge. An extremely funny and very lively family show, we were all rolling around with laughter! They’re touring throughout the UK over the summer.|
The Alps, France
These photos are courtesy of the Hodges-Jones family who took Barnaby on their adventures in the French Alps.
Barnaby is sitting in the snow on the Sommet de la Saulire mountain in Savoie, France. It has an elevation of 2,738 metres above sea level. The high mountain peak in the distance is the southern side of Mont Blanc which rises 4,810 m (15,781 ft) above sea level and is the highest mountain in the Alps and the European Union.
|Whilst in the Alps, Barnaby Bear was lucky enough to ski with British no.1 ski-cross athlete, Emily Sarsfield. She lives in the mountains whilst training for her upcoming races, but she also coaches primary school aged skiers.|
Mrs Jachacy visited her old school in Tychy, Poland, to talk to the pupils all about our school in Great Gransden. See International School Award for further details.
Bognor Regis, UK
Thank you to the Cain family for taking Barnaby on their activity holiday in Bognor Regis!
Many thanks to the Lovesey family for this lovely photo of Barnaby Bear under the sun in Menorca, Spain.
The Watoto African Children's Choir visited our school in February, before their performance at St. Bartholomew's Church. The children were presented with a Barnaby Bear for them to take back to their home in Uganda! See also School Events Gallery.
