Parent Helper Session22Sep2025

Our parent helpers make a huge contribution to the children's learning. For all parents who wish to help this year, experienced and new alike, please come along to this session at 9.00am in the School Hall.  You will be given key information about this year's plans for learning and how you can best support this in your role as parent helpers.

Netball Club - Y5 & 623Sep2025

3:20 pm - 4:20 pm @ School Hall and grounds

Netball Club will start on Tuesday 23rd September in preparation for a tournament at Comberton Village College on Wednesday 15th October. This year the club is open to boys and girls in year 5 & 6 and is free to attend. Your child will need to wear their PE kit and if the weather is wet we will work on our skills in the school hall. There will only be four sessions this year as we have a Parent Consultation Evening on 21st October and the clocks will have changed by the time we get back from half term. The club will then start back again in February 2026 in preparation for a tournament in early March. An invitation to sign up for 2026 will be sent out in the New Year.

Phonics afternoon for parents24Sep2025

2:30 pm - 3:15 pm @ School Hall

We would like to invite you to a phonics workshop on Wednesday 24th September at 2.30pm. You will have the opportunity to learn more about how your child is taught to read using our Twinkl phonics programme. During the session we will explain how phonics supports early reading and writing, share the strategies we use in class and offer practical ideas for how you can help at home. Only one parent to attend the session please and unfortunately we are not able to accommodate any pre-school children including babies.
