This is an opportunity for parents of children in Years 1-6 to meet with the class teacher in the classroom and gain a wealth of information about the year - for example timetables, curriculum areas and learning, topics, trips, assessments and how you can best support your children at home. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions. We run this session twice for parents with children in more than one class. This is one not to be missed to ensure you are fully informed. Parents of children in Reception do not need to attend as they will have met Mrs Swallow or Mrs Mickelburgh at their home visit.

Parents phonics meeting - Holly and Maple class23Sep2026

We would like to invite you to a phonics workshop on Wednesday 23rd September at 2.30pm. You will have the opportunity to learn more about how your child is taught to read using our phonics programme. During the session we will explain how phonics supports early reading and writing, share the strategies we use in class and offer practical ideas for how you can help at home. Only one parent to attend the session please and unfortunately we are not able to accommodate any pre-school children including babies.
