“I think this is exceptional RE. Rebecca Ostler teaches 9-10 year olds in
Cambridgeshire. This work, post pandemic, included some aims for enriched
knowledge of religion, but what transcends the usual for me is the extraordinarily
profound engagement from their own positions of children who need to think about
how we might live in a world like ours, framed by difficulty and tragedy. I publish 30 or
40 articles in RE today each term. This one is, to me, outstanding.” (Editor, RE Today)
