Useful Websites for Learning Spanish

Select Spanish.

Scroll down to find the topic you want to practise.

There are games, worksheets and Powerpoint presentations covering a wide variety of topics.

2. http://www.quia.com/shared/spanish/

Type into ‘keywords’ the subject you want to practise, select an activity type, eg quiz,  then Submit

Scroll down to select a game, which include matching games, Rags to Riches, Hangman, Battleships

Be careful not to choose something too hard.

3. http://www.lightbulblanguages.co.uk/

Select Spanish on the left hand side of the page.

Then scroll down and select Interactive games in the yellow column.  Select a topic from the list. Games include, Fling the teacher, Hangman, Jigwords, Memory Games and Matching Activities.

If you would rather look at Powerpoints, worksheets and schemes of work, then select Primary instead of Interactive Games and you will be presented with a wide variety of material in specific year groups to choose from.

4. www.bbc.co.uk/schools/primarylanguages/spanish/

Select All Games. Topics include sounds, numbers, all about me, families, food and drink and many more.

5. http://www.crickweb.co.uk/

Select Spanish. There are 10 interactive games such as colour labelling, crosswords, numbers, pets, fruit and things in the classroom

6. www.euroclubschools.co.uk/page97.htm

Select Spanish Zone and click on the subject you want to look at.

There are Spanish jokes, songs including the National Anthem, quizzes, information about Christmas, Easter, Spanish Traditions, food and lots more.
